Maya Likembe is the name of the band formed by Luxembourgish singer-songwriter and composer Mary-Ann Meiers. Drawing on jazz traditions, her music and vocals are also influenced by Latin, African and soul sounds. The project has thrived thanks to collaboration with musicians from a variety of cultural backgrounds. Their debut was the single Ardent Traveler, recorded in Luxembourg and the United States.
