About Love Saves The Day
Love Saves the Day is one of the biggest festivals in Bristol. The festival boasts an energetic crowd of music lovers, a unique setting, and great vibes for two electronic, indie, and hip-hop days. Love Saves the Day found its origin at Castle Park, its expansion to Eastville Park, before finding a permanent home at Ashton Court Estate last summer. With over 860 acres, the venue has a rich music history with performances from iconic stars like Portishead, Simple Minds, Robert Plant and more across the years, as well as being home to Bristol’s Balloon Fiesta.

Reviews for Love Saves The Day
Some notable feedback/reviews about Love Saves The Day:
Pros:
- 5/5 by Sophie Clark: Great festival 🙂
- 4.5/5 by Gauge Delaney: Overall a good festival and experience with fantastic music. The only bug bare was the lack of assistance when needing an ambulance from certain officials. Also, some people climbed over the gate and went into the Big Top stage.
- 4.5/5 by Sam Howell: Really good weekend. Expensive drinks and food but standard for a festival. Music was top tier and they deffo listened to feedback re sound quality and shelter from last year.
Cons:
- 1/5 by Julian Mcfarlane-Watts: This was the most unimaginative appalling excuse for a festival and a devastating blow for what is normally a thoroughly creative city. Daylight robbery. £50 to queue on the most incredibly large line, then upon arriving inside the ‘organisers’ had not even done the maths and every bar had a 100m long queue. What an embarrassing mess. Go and research how to organise something properly before charging ridiculously high amounts.

Clothing/Footwear
Love Saves The Day takes place in Ashton Court, which is an open-air green-field site. It has some limited pavement and tarmac paths on the peripheral entrances and exits, however, most of the space consists of grass and green space. While there will be some sheltered areas (some small tents and marquees), it is predominantly an open-air event, with most stages uncovered – we would advise all attendees to bring waterproof coats and clothing in the event of rain. Ground conditions are also weather dependent, if we experience extreme weather the ground may become muddy and the grass may well get churned up, so appropriate footwear is advised.
