Vivus Ads gives you an opportunity to advertise via events. We cover the essentials so you can reach your audience and focus on managing your business.

Navigation

The navigation system is designed to cut to the chase and provide you with easy access to the most used tools e.g finding opportunities and analytics.

The profile, whats on, categories, create event, analytics, news, support, plans. info and logout button takes you to your profile, event listing, event categories, analytics for both sponsors and organisers, vivus blog, support, pricing plans and logout option respectively.

Your Experience

To get started with Vivus Ads you’ll need to change your user experience to a company’s user experience. To do this, go to profile -> settings, select the social tab and click on the companies to change your experience.

Finding Events

Finding the right event or organiser to connect with might end up being daunting so we’ve created a few tools to sift through the noise and increase your money’s worth. When searching you can apply filters to see the right event, an example of this filters:

Time

This allows you to sort event by when it’s happening e.g this week, in a month or the next three months. This comes in handy when you have an upcoming launch or just require time to find out more about the event.

Audience

The audience section is broken down into the event category, gender, location and view count. A few are self-explanatory but the view count might include the total number of views an organiser promises via their ticket, event page, flyers or social media following.

Price

The price tab features the cost for getting started with an organisers Vivus Ads and proximity. Proximity indicates how far off their previous event ratings is from what they promise. A proximity of 0% means it’s the same or overcompensates while a proximity of 100% means there is a huge difference.

Event

Once you find the event you are interested in click on the event to find out more.

Checkout

The event page shows you 2 different sets of information, event details and the pitch telling you more about what the organiser is offering at each price tier e.g a standard might offer advertisement on the organisers event page and tickets while premium might offer advertisement on the organisers event page, tickets, social media and a shout out at the event.

If you are satisfied, click the checkout button to view a model of different payment options, if not use the contact form to contact the organiser or start a chat with the organiser. Once payment has been made you and the organiser a get a receipt of payment and we start tracking your Vivus ads data. Is that it!

Is that it! Well we are almost done, it remains the analytics side of things.

Analytics Breakdown

The Vivus Ads analytics shows you data about all your campaign and more information about each individual campaign.

The bar chart shows you total views for each month. Insights are usually refreshed on a daily basis but if you would like to refresh your insight manually, click the refresh insight button to your right. 

To find out more information about each campaign scroll down further until you find a pie chart, the pie chart shows you a pie of event category sponsored. To find out more about each event campaign click on the username of the organiser.

 Campaign Breakdown

The event campaign is broken down into 5 key elements:

Views

Views are calculated by what the organiser promised plus views per event page and tickets. The tickets impressions are counted twice as it is generally assumed ticket holder check if a purchase was successful and when using the tickets.

Clicks

A unique URL is provided upon starting the ad campaign which the organiser can use to track each successful visit to your website. Consider using the Vivus Ads API on your website, there’s an added bonus of checking clicks to your website from the event location.

Average Age

This shows the average age group of successful ticket buyers.

Other information includes the location which shows you where the event took place and event Category which shows you the type of event e.g business, festival or club.
